Sony's CRIME CRACKERS 2 will be released this week in Japan. The game was first scheduled for release in Spring 1996, so the delay has been rather long. This is the sequel to CRIME CRACKERS, one of the first games for the PlayStation which was released back in 1994.

The sequel is far bigger than the original, and your choices in the game will affect the overall storyline. There will be 8 chapters in the game, each with its own story and stages. In order to clear the stages, you need to defeat the enemies and collect certain items in a set time limit. There will also be some nice anime scenes between the stages.

There will be 8 characters for you to choose from, each with their own stats. You can control a group of 4 characters at once. And unlike in the original, you don't need to switch from walking to fighting mode when encountering enemies. You can attack while walking now.
